Meet The Team
Ms. Michelle Hsiung obtained her Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Primary Certificate from the Montessori Institute of San Diego (MISD) in 2007 and has been teaching and practicing Montessori education since. When starting a brand new school, Ms. Michelle had a simple mission in mind, she wanted a school where she would feel confident sending her own child. In the fall of October 2012, she opened Children's World Bilingual Montessori School. With the support and dedication from the team of teachers, Children's World Bilingual Montessori School became certified and recognized as one of AMI Montessori School in 2015. Ms. Michelle holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with Montessori Education Concentration from the University of Hartford.
Pratima Joshi has joined our family since 2013. She had served as a preschool teacher prior to joining the Primary Team at CWBM. Pratima completed her Early Childhood Education Credits and also earned her Assistant Teacher's Certification from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Pratima brings a calm, compassionate and gentle presence to the environment. She is also committed to partner with parents and provide a nurturing family atmosphere to children. Only through a loving environment that children can feel secure and are able to expand their creativity and express themselves freely.
Miss Cindy obtained a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Before joining our family, Miss Cindy taught as a student-teacher at Head Start Preschool Program and SJSU Preschool Lab. Miss Cindy is passionate about teaching. She loves to inspire in children a love of learning and to spark their interest in learning a second language. “Teach me to do it myself” is her favorite quote from Dr. Maria Montessori. She believes children achieve high self-esteem with the ability to do for oneself from an early age.
Ms. Betty Zhang joined our family in April 2022. She holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. As a previous Montessori school graduate, Ms. Betty is passionate about children and the Montessori method.
